Welcome to the lottery!  I'm your host, Jay! You might be wondering what this is with only a vague idea, and already telling yourself you want in. That's the spirit!

This little game is played once a month. The admins will choose a date, and on this date we pick out a raffle ticket, and give the person whose ticket it is lots of tokens. Totally tubular for all you hip young folk, right? Probably!

Buying a ticket is simple, just post in this thread and tell admins you want x number of tickets, and we'll deduct the price of tokens from you! Each ticket is five tokens, and you can buy a maximum of ten per month.

Every token spent on tickets will go into the jackpot, added to the base jackpot pool of 30! For those of you who struggle with math, let my calculator help you out. Say ten people buy one ticket each. That's 50 tokens added to the pool. Put that with the 30 already in it, and you could win 80 tokens, just for spending five. Wow! Sounds pretty nifty to me! I'd totally partake, if there wasn't a rule against the person doing the drawing being able to buy tickets! [shakes fist]

But wait, there's MORE! The first raffle will start in June, 2015. And since it's my birthday month, I'll add another 10 tokens into the pool for that month. Woohoo, the winner is gonna be ten whole tokens richer~ Think about it; you're 10% closer to buying an anthro character. Furry city, here we come!!

You can start buying tickets on the first of each month, and the end date to buy tickets for that particular drawing will be on the 25th day of the same month. Sometime after the 25th, but before the 1st of the next month, we'll draw a winner using random.org, announce them here, and hand out them their beautiful virtual sack of virtual currency for all their fictional character needs, or simply to gloat! How's that for a good time?

The process was simple: each ticket holder is given one number per ticket they held. Then I took the number total, in this case 3, and went to random.org to generate a winner! Lucky #1 stole the show. c:



So that's our June/July Lottery. You're now free to purchase tickets for August (my apologies for the August delay @_@) and try to earn your way to the millionaires' mansions with Elm!
